TEA TASTING with TEA ENCOUNTERS

£15.00

Chiara is the founder of Tea Encounters. Her 15 year long path into tea made her develop a true passion for playing with high quality leaves in order to offer amazing experiences for the palate and the soul.

The quality of the tea leaf reveals so many layers in the process of tea making: the environment and how it is treated is the key to producing an exceptional aroma. Leaves have been preserved thanks to traditional techniques that survived for centuries and that inform the history and the culture of both China and Japan, their traditional medicine and philosophy of life.

‘Being able to tell these stories while brewing tea is the best approach to forging a real appreciation for the knowledge that this product of culture and nature can offer.’

Tea is always considered to be a soothing ground for sharing, and it is traditionally made for two or more people.

Respecting this approach is what Tea Encounters aims for, and is about.
